It's popular with customers and employees alike when the giant video walls are used to bring the seasons indoors. With every Video Wall Season project, we try to outdo ourselves. So much the better when a challenge is also incredibly fun. For the Winter Video Wall Series we spent a few weeks in the Austrian Alps. Our Austrian friends took us to the best ski routes and found some professional freestyle skiers and snowboarders who inspired us with their talent.
Combining a series of our high-end cinema cameras enabled us to capture snowtop scenes at resolutions of 24K or above. With complex post production processes incorporating CGI, visual effects and color grading we ensured the clarity of the scenes. Our team had to get on skies as well to get between shooting spots. It was pretty exciting to be riding in unfamiliar terrain with expensive camera equipment on our backs. This excitement and fun is also visible in the final product.
